Lol, I sorta went meta with this... Technically in FFX even the guardians don't defeat Sin. They cut inside of it and then kill the spirit possessing it... Where as Emerald Weapon, while SUPER hard to fight, can (theoretically- I never did it) be beaten by the party.

Also... Summons win out against Mechas... Right? Ethereal beasts pulled from the cosmos are cooler than giant robots.
