Limit Break/Spellcasting

Question: Is +1 Limit Break/day equivalent in power to +1 Spellcasting level for a PrC? Better/Worse?

In that case it's all very circumstantial on what you need. I find that Limit breaks are very powerful but not always needed, also it would depend on which classes/PrC classes the character has. Some class abilities can help balance out the loss if a use of limit break
