how well known is this color scheme of alignment?
I ask because if you have an NPC who has successfully infiltrated the group and Trance's during combat in order to 'save' them from -whatever- but they are all White and Red (lol, Pink is Devil alignment... adorable) then the party would know this person is evil.
Alternatively if the PCs infiltrate a Kefkanite cult and someone Trances to be all Grey and Blue (the Dallas Cowboys are NG? hmmm...) then the cult knows to stab them...
Which is sad.
