I'm having some troubles balancing out combat and players. I have 4 level 12s in my party and yet it seems that they can destroy any creature I throw at them (I threw a CR 15 and a CR 13 at them while they were level 10 and with absolutely no problem they killed them)
I feel something is unbalanced but I'm not quite understanding what I'm doing wrong as a DM

Well there goes the campaign. We dont have anyone with trapsence or disable device so we are screwed

I'll second the tactics thing. Just because a monster doesn't have genius intellect doesn't mean it's an idiot; many monsters with low Intelligence scores actually have a relatively high Wisdom score instead. They may not recognize things like a weapon being made out of adamantine, but they are aware of their own capabilities, and able to learn. If there are status effects they can inflict, bust them out. For example, with the Cie'th monsters I've got, many of them have an ability called Wail, which is an AoE stun. Instead of trying to just run up and bash down an opponent, especially if more than one with the ability are present, they'll have one or two of them move near the group and then stun the lot of them. Especially in upper-level encounters, status effects can damn near be a death sentence if you make good use of them.

Agreed. The raw natural instincts of a creature can often be taken as tactics. Wolves hunting in a pack, and leaving until the odds are more in their favor, or cats using stealth to pounce on an unsuspecting target.

I threw a CR 15 and my party of 3 at level 11 and it took a long time to kill but they eventually did it. But I agree the party is a balanced party but I still have trouble with throwing monsters at my group. I just pluck them out of the Pathfinder Beastiary now since there aren't that many monsters on this list.
