Genome race?

iv been reading through the races in the book and noticed that Genomes wasn't a Race. are they some where else in the book or are they not in there?

I know this is an old thread, but perhaps the Vanara could be used as a starting part? It's been a long, long time since I played IX, so I don't remember too much about Zidane, or other Genomes in general, but starting with a monkey-like race and changing a few things for the FFIX flavor may be a good start. A bonus to Dex is pretty much a given.
