Cure/Regen Materia in Weapon slots - Rizaidym - 06-01-2014

How do Cure/Regen Materia work in weapons? Do the weapons heal the user with every hit? Do the weapons themselves heal ala the Cure Staff in FFTA? Same deal with the Protect Materia, does it impose an attack penalty on enemies struck or just a blanket debuff to anyone who attacks you?

Cure/Regen: Weapons heal the user with every hit.

Protect: Blanket debuff to anyone who attacks you.

Thank you for the clarification. Also? I love the Materia Knight. I just wish I didn't have to slow my Blue Mage progression for it. I will find a way to implement an FFTA-style dual job system!
