Not an update, but I wanted everyone to know that I've signed up on Patreon. You don't have to donate, it won't impede on updates if you don't. I have gotten emails about asking to donate, so I figured this would be a better alternative. If you become a Patron, you'll hear what I'm working on currently and see the previews of anything I've finished that I haven't updated to the website yet.

  Hi again! ;)

Hey guys and Viladin!

Been a long time isn't it? Smile As you can see, yup im back Wink I'm still working on some projects but lately im focusing on a convertion like "Sword Art Online" mixed up with Pathfinder and FFd20 while merging the MMORPG concept to it! It'll be an experience boosting method like "Dark Soul" video game. Choosing where u wanna increase your character, using that xp for upgrading your job lvl, etc. Once I'll have something written about it, imma post it officially! Smile

Happy to be back amongst you all!

  ArcheAge
Posted by: Gizmo - 09-25-2014, 05:47 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

With the new release of the free to play online game, ArcheAge, I was curious to whether it not other people on the forums have started playing. I for one think it is an amazing game, and has given me creativity to explore for my future, hopefully not distant future, game.

With the queue times I'm bouncing around servers a bit, but after a week or so when they die down I'll be settling on one. Let me know what's up and if you like it or not. Smile

  For Vil (rolld20 question)
Posted by: kenki - 09-04-2014, 02:34 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (6)

So my main group went to collage and got lost on WOW. So I'm stuck again.

Vil you told me at one point in time that rolld20 had coded the rule set for the ffd20 system.

So I was wondering.. >.> did you ever update that, as well as just how does it work.

Reason I'm asking is I have a separate new group who want to make dice rolls a bit more in public view and that was one of the things that came to mind.

I personally use my norm but, this group were more wanting their own little niche of madness and things so I figured thats the best recommendation I could come up with (with out me trying to sick a tonberry at them)

If its not updated I'll try to get them to use my comp as a battle map (which would of been 1000% easier but meh) I just figured I'd ask.

If all else this is for anyone reading:
Does anyone know any sites where players can view all dice roll results at once in a more local setting. IE everyone able to see dice results with out question at the same time.

  Favorite character in FFd20?
Posted by: Gizmo - 08-22-2014, 09:20 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (4)

I enjoy browsing the forums on my breaks at work. And I wanted to bring up a topic of discussion to really keep me interested. Smile
The topic is: what is your favorite character you have either created, or encountered, in FFd20. Also a story of what happened or why they are your favorite would be lovely as well.
Sadly I have only played a short one shot of FFd20, so I have yet to encounter much.

I look forward to the responses. Smile

  A question about archetypes
Posted by: timtheenchanter - 07-29-2014, 09:51 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (6)

I've been going over the archetypes, and though I do find them very cool, one or two of them have made me wonder a few things.

The immediate one comes from the Burmecian Dragon Knight. Why are only Burmecians aloud this class? Its very unique, but I don't see any reason why its even a racial archetype, especially for the race that is noted as amazing jumpers, given that it looses many of its jumping abilities. Even the signature Dragoon of their race doesn't come close to this archetype.

If there is a reason, I'd really like to know, as I've found little to no information on the Burmecians, and this class being theirs and theirs alone feels like there is some kind of interesting story behind them. If there isn't, then it feels to me like it just doesn't belong where it is. A class about becoming one with dragons through comradery with them should be a class anyone can take (or at least restricted to the Gria or maybe the Bangaa, since their draconic qualities could be argued).

That feeling of scaring the players
Posted by: kenki - 07-25-2014, 02:20 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (4)

Well lol, My round three is going well so far at this d20 thing.

My party still think's I'm trying to kill them.
My party's tank is fearful of doors.
I joke about a bunny rabbit and they think I'm whipping out a tonberry.
Oh and anytime theres puzzles their more then likely gonna try to blow up a wall.

>.> How is one supposed to feel on this.

=(^-^)= Do i feel good a party of 3 can slog through my campaign or throw the towel lol.

Seriously , the whole blowing up a wall thing.. while vild why lol damn moogles critical-ling on walls and spamming bombs.

:3 Anyway , Surprized I haven't ran into to much difficulty.

Just >.> I don't know why I get yelled at when I don't want the pcs to haggle with the merchants due to well.. I'm not Recette lol.

They seem to like to talk to vermin this time, which isn't too bad. Gives them a bit more flexable roleplay there I suppose. Still, its hard trying to come up with artistic flare concepts.

Gotta figure out how to separate the party of three so they get terrified a little but unsure how.

Basically their a bit uberly terrified on things thats normal, and yelling at me for lack of rp when I try to create rp moments, and yell at me because I want to kinda save redundancy shopping for basic adventuring gear that is in teh list.

Well I am probably wrong for denial of their haggles, but I just find appraisal and item identification, as well as micromanaging shops cuts things.

Just what do you guys think about this.

I mean besides the frozen moogle since, I know he hates when I haz the big rule of "NO KABOOM WALLS, and haggling merchants" but, still gives me a hassle on the "oh but we're not allowed to shop" when that wasn't the intent. *face palm*
