Is Firaja or Flare II more powerful? - Fortheseen - 12-13-2017
Hey there, I've been doing some studying on Firaja and Flare II mainly from FFXI and technically Firaja is a higher level spell than Flare II. I know some other FF games have Firaja more powerful than Flare. I'm just curious what other people think is generally more powerful because I feel like redoing the ja spells in my spell selection depending on how people think about them.

Flare is weaker I believe but has the advantage of non elemental damage

The thing is, Flare spells (as well as Meteor) in FFd20 do fire damage.

Normally I would agree with you there since most of the final fantasy games has Flare as a non-elemental spell but it is fire.
